Y&H Launches LDEC Electric Box Retrofit for Picanol PB Board
Y&H Technology now offers a complete LDEC electric box solution to replace the original PB board on Picanol weaving looms, addressing common failure causes and extending service life.

The original PB board on Picanol looms is prone to failure for several reasons:
- Short circuit of the main servo motor
- Heavy vibration during loom operation
- Dust and oil buildup causing short circuits on the board
- Improper installation of the PB board
- High operating temperatures
- End-of-life degradation of internal components
To solve these issues, Y&H has developed a dedicated electric box that consolidates all boards into a single enclosed unit. Key advantages include:
- All boards housed in one control box — protects against dust and vibration, improving loom efficiency.
- Air-cooling system for reliable thermal management.
- Better protection for the servo motor against short circuits.
- Advanced circuit design for enhanced board protection.
- Modular design: the original single large board is replaced by several smaller boards — 2 capacitance boards, 2 driving boards, 1 power board, 1 CPU main board, and 1 charging board.
This retrofit is suitable for most Picanol looms that do not already have an LDEC box, including Gamma, GamMax, Omni, and Omni Plus models.
Important note: The MB board must be version MB5. If you are unsure, please take a photo of the current software identification screen on your loom terminal so we can verify compatibility before ordering.
