Y&H Technology now provides a take-up motor retrofit for Tsudakoma looms weaving heavy fabrics such as denim.

Tsudakoma looms are originally designed for light fabrics, so the stock take-up motor lacks the power required for heavy weaving and is prone to burnout. To make matters worse, the original motor model has been discontinued. Remaining market stock is expensive, and lower-priced alternatives are typically refurbished second-hand units with unstable quality.

Y&H offers a direct replacement motor and driver set in two mechanical versions:

  • Gear type — for gear-driven take-up.
